Arrival and departure
we have compiled some tips and advice for you.
The Zillertal Arena is particularly well located and is easily reachable. You can either take the Inntal highway (A12) and the Zillertal or you can take the route via Kitzbühel-Mittersill and the Gerlospass.
The users of the Gerlos Alpine road (Gerlos Alpenstraße) are required to pay a toll, here you can find further information regarding the prices.
In wintertime the Gerlos Alpine road is free of charge for those who have a valid ski pass. The last kilometers of both suggested routes are mountain passes which during winter require equipment suited to difficult weather conditions (you can find more details at www.gerlosstrasse.at)
Our office in Königsleiten can be found just at the entrance of the town on the left side of the street.
Move into the accommodation

The property you have booked will be cleaned on the day of arrival. Occupancy is possible from 16:00. We will do our best to keep to this time. However, if this is not possible and the holiday accommodation is ready for occupancy at a later time, we ask for your understanding. You will be informed of the exact time when you check in at our office on Saturday.
There are plenty of parking spaces available at the newly built KIG-Building (Königsleiten 310) - directly opposite of our office. Here you can park for up to 2 hours free of charge on the north side of the building in the short-stay parking zone (parking deck). We kindly ask you to accept this offer, as there is an arrival and departure on Saturday and therefore an increased traffic volume is to be expected.
We kindly ask you to arrive no later than 18:00 if possible. Should your arrival be delayed, please let us know on +43(0)6564/8686.
You are welcome to rent an initial equipment package from us in advance so that you don't have any problems on arrival. Information can be found in our additional costs overview.
Leaving the accommodation
Departure
Our holiday accommodation is available to you until 10:00 am on the day of departure. Please return the keys to the Direkt Holidays office by 10.00 a.m. or put them in the letterbox to the right of the office door!
A favourable departure time in terms of traffic to avoid traffic jams is early in the morning (05:00 - 07:00).
You will receive an e-mail from us a few days after your departure. This will include a link to our review page. We would be delighted if you would rate your stay at Direkt Holidays and give us feedback on the property and our service.
Checklist for a quick check-in
Please bring the following items with you to check-in:
- Booking confirmation in printed or digital form.
- The deposit for your accommodation will be transferred with the final payment. This will be automatically returned to you after 14 days.
- The balance of the rental price, as well as the remaining additional costs must be paid upon arrival.
- You can buy your ski passes at our office right away. To save waiting time, reserve them online before your arrival. Reserve now
- Please try to enter our office only with one companion at the most, in order to allow every guest a pleasant check-in.
When leaving the accommodation
When leaving the accommodation, we kindly ask you to take make sure that:
- The main door is locked (not merely closed) and you hand in the keys to our staff at the office of Direkt Holidays. Should you leave outside of our opening hours, please slide the keys into the postbox you will find on the right-hand side of the office door.
- All windows are completely closed -> danger of frost!
- All the lights were turned off.
- Given that Saturdays is the only day of the week for checking in and checking out, we ask you to leave the heating on, regulated to a temperature that you find to be pleasant – other guests will be moving in the room later on on the same day.
- Information on Cleaning & Waste Disposal
SKI PASS PRE-ORDER
Pre-order your ski pass online and save yourself long waiting times and crowds in our office. We will prepare your ski passes and you can then collect and pay for them from our office on the day of your arrival.
There is no risk for you as the ski passes are only activated when you collect them from our office.
